Florianópolis will be part of the International Film Festival circuit of tourism. This is adding to a worldwide trend that provides a forum for directors in love with the natural and urban locations across the world to showcase their productions. There will be films that emphasize the role and function of tourism in modern society in several dimensions: cultural, social and economic.
The event aims at disseminating films about tourist destinations and encouraging the production of audiovisual tourism in the state and in Brazil. It will bring operators, technicians, professionals and businessman linked to tourism from around the world, encouraging and moving the creative industry to promote tourism.
The Film Brazil Tour will take place between May 6th and May 9th, 2010; with activities at the Teatro Pedro Ivo, UFSC, Legislative Assembly and Costão do Santinho.
