Pousada Pouso do Marujo

This is a family-owned guesthouse. They were backpackers until they decided to settle down in the paradisiacal island of Florianopolis. She is Brazilian, the daughter of a Danish father and Brazilian mother. Her husband is German.

They both love to read and have a private library in English. They have three children: 20 years old, 15 years old and 6 years old. They are all passionate about nature and chose to live in Florianopolis not only because it is a beautiful city, but also because it has good universities and preserved nature. They enjoy their work and take pleasure in welcoming people from different places and cultures.
