Campeche Island is a small island off the Campeche beach in Florianopolis. It is a tropical paradise, with clear, calm water, white sand beaches and a well preserved Atlantic forest. Furthermore, it houses archaeological sites with ancient Indian writings, which can be accessed by a pleasant hike that passes along beautiful sights.
Snorkelling is popular on this island along its rocky coast to the left. Equipment may be rented on the beach. There are restaurants on the beach that serve seafood dishes and drinks.
